Welcome to wildchildeducation
I am a fully qualified Primary Teacher with 20 years experience across Key Stages 1 and 2. I've also been a Level 3 Qualified Forest School Leader since 2016, leading successful Forest School programmes which engage children with their local environment and had great benefits to their health and mental wellbeing, communication and social skills. I am fully First Aid trained (including Paediatric, Outdoor First Aid and Outdoor Incident Management), DBS checked and fully insured.
I believe it's so important to take our children out into green spaces and woodlands so they can experience the beauty and wonder of the world around them. Forest School is a fantastic way to engage children and young people in nature, allowing them to learn new skills and discover their talents while developing their sense of wellbeing through a connection to the natural environment. By the end of the day, your children will be muddy, happy and excited to tell you all about their woodland adventures. I can't wait to share our wonderful woodland with them!
